Accelerate EDCI Reporting

EDCI reporting requires coordination and reporting across your portfolio of companies. PCG can help streamline and simplify the effort.

What is EDCI?

EDCI (ESG Data Convergence Initiative) launched in 2021 to address the need for standardized and meaningful sustainability data in the private markets. 450+ member firms have committed to the EDCI, representing $38T USD of AUM.

General Partners (GPs) collect sustainability data annually from their portfolio companies and submit to the EDCI so that Limited Partners (LPs) can receive comparable data from underlying GPs. Approximately 80 data points are collected across company fundamentals, GHG emissions, Net Zero, energy consumption, diversity, work-related injuries, new hires, and employee engagement.

The resulting data is shared directly with LPs for analysis, reviewed for accuracy by EDCI & BCG, and included in anonymized benchmarking to support assessments by LPs and GPs. LPs leverage EDCI reporting to make better informed analysis & decisions as to their investments and performance.
